Qualifications

• 60 semester hours of college credit required.
• Successful training at an accredited college or higher learning institution.
• Experience with one‑on‑one teaching practices beneficial.
• Knowledgeable of library services and practices.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with teachers, parents and students.

Responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and/or small group tutoring for eligible students.
• Assist with library classroom management and organize instructional materials.
• Provide technology assistance to students and staff.
• Conduct parental involvement activities related to library/media services.
• Support teachers with best practices based on research.
• Manage library collections under supervision of a library/media specialist.
• Represent the library on site-based and school improvement committees.
• Other duties as assigned.
