Qualifications

• Certification as New Jersey School Library Media Specialist or Associate School Library Media Specialist is required.
• Teaching or Librarian experience is required.
• Must pass background check and provide proof of U.S. citizenship or legal residency status.

Responsibilities

• Encourage reading and lifelong learning by stimulating interests and fostering competencies in using information.
• Evaluate, select, and acquire print, non-print, electronic, and online resources to meet instructional needs.
• Collaborate with teachers to teach information processes integrated with curriculum.
