Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited educational institution.

• Certification in Media by the State of Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Identify, select or develop short- and long-range goals for the media program.
• Plan with teachers for integrating media/information skills into the school program.
• Develop schedules and organize resources for easy information access.
• Administer the media center budget and maintain records as required by policy.
• Instruct staff and students in use of resources, services, and equipment.
• Provide reference assistance and promote media resources.
