Job summary

Applitrack's Wilkinson County Elementary School seeks a Media Center Paraprofessional to support the school librarian and staff in the media center, helping students access instructional materials.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of college coursework or No Child Left Behind Act exam.
• Prior experience working with children desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in locating materials in the media center.
• Reinforce reading, language arts, mathematics, computer instruction, and other skills.
• Maintain circulation desk operations and files.
• Work with students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Operate audio-visual equipment as needed.
• Assist in cataloging and filing learning materials.
• Construct, copy, distribute and use educational materials.
