Job summary

Qualifications

• For Instructor: MLS/MLIS from an ALA-accredited program; must complete a second graduate degree within 5 years.
• Ability to work with others for the good of the institution.

Responsibilities

• Teach one-shots, course-related information literacy classes, and drop-in workshops.
• Provide reference services (in-person, chat, email, and consultations).
• Collaborate with the Coordinator of Library Instruction to schedule and assess classes.
• Develop teaching materials in multiple modalities.
• Support scholarly communication efforts within and outside of the Department.
• Produce scholarly research and participate in academic service via committees and working groups.
• Serve as the liaison librarian to, and provide collection development for academic programs.
• Teach library credit course, as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the Chairperson
