Job summary

The Riverside County Library System (RCLS) is seeking a Library Advisor, a non-supervisory librarian who serves as a system-wide advisor, implementation leader, and resource for public library services.

Reporting to the Assistant Executive Director, the Library Advisor collaborates with executive leadership, branch managers, and staff to provide consultation, coaching, training, and implementation support to strengthen organizational effectiveness and promote best practices across Riverside

Qualifications

• MLS/MLIS from an ALA-accredited program or equivalent.
• Experience with library operations, programming, collections, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional consultation, coaching, training, and implementation support.
• Supports implementation of executive priorities and organizational initiatives.
• Assists in onboarding and mentoring branch managers and management staff.
• Facilitates collaboration and problem-solving across departments.
• Promotes operational excellence through analytics and best practices.
