Job summary

The Borough of Little Silver seeks a Library Director to lead the municipal public library serving Little Silver and Fair Haven. As part of a shared services agreement with Fair Haven, the role includes collaboration with governing bodies and trustees.

Job description

Library Director - Little Silver Borough.

The Borough of Little Silver Library Director is responsible for the overall administration, management, and strategic direction of the municipal public library in both Little Silver and Fair Haven. This position oversees library operations, including staffing, budgeting, programming, facilities, collection development, and community engagement, ensuring the library’s provide high-quality services that meet the informational, educational, and cultural needs of the communities. The Library Director works closely with the Governing Bodies, Boards of Library Trustees, municipal officials, and community stakeholders to advance the library's mission and long-term goals. This position is also part of a shared services agreement between the Borough’s of Little Silver and Fair Haven for the library director’s position. This position offers employer sponsored health and dental benefits, enrollment in the New Jersey Public Employees Retirement System, paid vacation, sick and personal time off. Little Silver is an EOE. Full-time $60,000 - $120,000 * This hire has a full-benefit package to include health, dental, sick, vacation and personal time off, PERS enrollment etc.
