Job summary

Las Vegas-Clark County Library District is hiring a Computer Lab Department Head at the West Charleston Library. The role provides leadership, supervision, training, and program oversight for the computer lab, while supporting staff and users with problem solving and service excellence.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience in training or supervising computer users, with PIC training within six months. Competitive pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Preferred: degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Two years’ experience training and/or instructing users on PCs and software, with at least one year in a lead role.
• PIC training within six months of start; AED/CPR certification within six months.

• Motivates and supervises assigned staff, including performance coaching and management.
• Career counseling and staff development.
• Conflict resolution and scheduling to meet goals.
• Develops reports and monitors quality metrics; ensures policy compliance.
