City of Wichita is seeking a part-time Clerk I in Collection Services to ensure library materials are accurately processed and accessible to the public. You will engage with patrons, provide excellent service, and help maintain collection accuracy and presentation.

The role supports library operations, enabling staff and patrons to access resources efficiently in a welcoming learning environment. Schedule is fixed and part-time, with shifts including evenings and weekends as noted.

Qualifications

• Competency in using computers.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Provide courteous and efficient customer service in person and by phone.
• Assist patrons with general library services.
• Shelve materials accurately and maintain orderly collections through regular shelf-reading.
• Perform materials handling tasks including sorting, organizing, and loading carts.
• Support general upkeep of the library and assist with special projects or other duties as assigned.
