Job summary

Maricopa County Library District is seeking a Library Supervisor for the North Valley Regional Library. You will lead staff, plan dynamic public programs, and provide excellent customer service across all ages. This role supports the Library Branch Manager and collaborates with community organizations.

The position requires one year of professional library experience and a Master's in Library Science from an ALA-accredited school. Supervisory and public library experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited program is required.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, trains, supervises, and evaluates assigned branch staff.
• Plans and conducts programs for the public.
• Provides exceptional customer service and assists with digital devices and library resources.
• Assists with scheduling staff and leave to ensure equitable staffing.
• Helps establish, evaluate, and revise branch goals and procedures.
• Acts as liaison to outside organizations as needed.
