The Jackson County Public Library is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-oriented individual to work part-time in the Youth Services department as a Library Assistant I. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, plan and present creative programming for children of all ages, have a strong commitment to customer service, and good interpersonal and communication skills. One year’s customer service experience is required as is a High School Diploma or GED. The 20 hour per week position may include nights and weekends. Preference is given to those with previous library experience.
