Federal Work Study Student – Library Assistant

Location:

College Library, on-campus

Nature of Duties:

The Library Assistant is responsible for assisting library staff including periodicals check-in, operating computer systems to check materials in and out, shelving, inventorying, shelf reading, processing of library materials, filing, typing, data entry, mail delivery, courier, answering telephones, providing guidance, directions, answering questions, opening and closing of library, providing computer assistance, and assisting with special projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Be enrolled as a student at Columbus Technical College
• Completed a FAFSA and be identified as being eligible for federal aid
• Complete a Federal Work-Study Employment Application
