Job summary

Waco ISD is seeking an Aide - Instructional for library support. The aide will assist teachers with classroom activities, prepare instructional materials, and help supervise students throughout the day.

The role requires an Associate degree or 60 college hours, plus Texas educational aide certification. Experience with children and strong communication are preferred, with a non-exempt, at-will status.

Qualifications

• Assist in instructional activities under teacher supervision.
• Help students with reading, writing and math tasks.
• Support classroom management and organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction of students under direct supervision of teacher.
• Conduct instructional exercises assigned by the teacher; work with individual students or small groups.
• Assist in classroom management and student records.
