Job summary

Fairfield University seeks a library Access Services Assistant to support patrons, supervise student employees, and manage daily operations at the DiMenna-Nyselius Library. You will assist with circulation, access services workflows, and mentor a team of student workers while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with oversight of the main service point with extensive service hours.
• Support access services-related tools and technologies including the ILS and student information system.
• Maintain workflows for all aspects of Access Services operations.
• Explain and interpret circulation policies to patrons.
• Assist patrons with printers, scanners, and computer hardware.
• Assist with on-campus delivery of library materials and interlibrary loans.
