Job summary

Epic Aircraft, located in Bend, Oregon, seeks a Liaison Engineer I to address nonconforming parts and aircraft systems. You will evaluate issues, determine corrective actions, and support safe, efficient production and continued operation of Epic Flight Support fleet.

The role requires engineering fundamentals, CAD proficiency, and the ability to work with Manufacturing, Quality Control, and other engineering teams. Prior FAA/FAR awareness is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 1–2 years of engineering experience or internship/co-op.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop structural repair solutions and perform static strength analyses for nonconforming parts and assemblies.
• Serve on the MRB to evaluate disposition of nonconforming items.
• Collaborate with Quality Control and Manufacturing to resolve engineering issues.
• Interpret drawings and specs to improve manufacturability, serviceability, and reliability.
• Support product and process improvements through engineering analyses.
