Responsibilities:

• Claim Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations, review documentation, gather evidence, interview involved parties, and collaborate with third-party experts such as appraisers or engineers.
• Claim Evaluation: Analyze policy coverage, liability, and damages to determine eligibility and settlements, applying insurance policies and regulations.
• Claim Settlement: Negotiate and recommend claim payments, ensuring adherence to company policies and authority levels.
• Customer Service: Communicate clearly and professionally with claimants and stakeholders, demonstrating empathy and professionalism. Contribute to initiatives that improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Education and Experience:

• Experience with Xactimate preferred
• At least three years as a liability adjuster
• Associates Degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Must be licensed as a P&C adjuster in at least one state, with eligibility for licensing in others

Salary: $50,000 - $75,000 based on experience
