Job summary

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in claims, 4 years of leadership, and broad jurisdictional experience; a High School Diploma is required, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. This remote-friendly leadership role offers meaningful work with national scope.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of demonstrated ability handling Commercial General Liability claims, including complex litigation, bodily injury and property damage.
• 4 years of prior leadership experience leading a claims team.
• Nationwide jurisdictional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a liability claims team handling a variety of caseload sizes and complexities to deliver high-quality and efficient service.
• Promote Best Practices to ensure claims are handled in accordance with GB's standards.
• Drive Talent by leading adjuster hiring and training to foster performance and continuous improvement.
• Manage Workloads by defining team goals, motivating performance, and balancing priorities for optimal efficiency.
• Utilize Technology to leverage Gallagher's tools for better efficiency and service quality.
• Communicate with clients, carriers, and brokers in a professional, proactive manner.
• Position team members for development through coaching and mentorship.

About You

Ideal candidates for this position will have:

• Claims Background: 7 years of demonstrated ability handling Commercial General Liability Claims handling experience Including Complex litigation, Bodily Injury, and Property Damage claims.
• Prior leadership experience: 4 years
• Jurisdictional Experience: Nationwide preferred

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 7 years related claims experience
• Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled
• Knowledge of all team member related functions
