Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a detail-oriented claims assistant in Edison, NJ to support investigations and claims handling. You will work with experienced staff to evaluate and settle claims while delivering exceptional service.

You will review procedures, analyze medical records and contracts, and contribute to special projects as needed. Bachelor’s degree and insurance/legal exposure are preferred, with strong MS Office skills and research abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Some experience in insurance or legal fields preferred.

• Review standard operating procedures and training manuals to determine correct workflow steps and document requirements when handling various claims scenarios.
• Develop proficiency in reviewing medical records and analyzing various contracts (leases, contractor agreements).
• Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Some experience in insurance or legal preferred.
