Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Examiner - Liability to analyze complex liability claims across multi-state jurisdictions in a hybrid/remote model. You’ll manage high-exposure claims, coordinate with clients, and leverage Sedgwick’s network to resolve outcomes.

The role requires 5 years claims management experience, a high school diploma, and licensing with NY preferred; reciprocal licensing is required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Education & Licensing: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex liability claims to determine benefits due and pursue adjudication.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority and timelines.
• Communicate claim activity with claimants and clients clearly.
• Report claims to excess carriers and coordinate directions professionally.
