Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Liability Claims Examiner to analyze General Liability, Auto Liability and Premises claims across multiple jurisdictions. This role requires 5 years of claims management experience and licensing in New York is preferred.

You will adjudicate benefits due, negotiate settlements, and communicate with claimants and clients while enjoying a flexible hybrid work model and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5 years of claims management experience.
• Licensing in NY preferred; multi-jurisdiction knowledge.
• Professional certification relevant to line of business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process General Liability, Auto Liability & Premises claims to determine exposure and benefits.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with claimants and clients.
• Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to directions professionally and timely.
