Job summary

The Lia Auto Group is seeking an Account Payable/Accounts Receivable Manager to join our accounting team in Albany. This role oversees AP/AR functions and ensures accuracy and adherence to internal controls and accounting standards.

You will supervise the AP/AR staff, support month-end close, and ensure compliance with NYS tax laws while providing reliable financial information to dealership managers.

Qualifications

• Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Minimum one year of supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Automotive experience a plus but not required
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a team member

Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of NYS Sales and Use Tax laws
• Prepare reconciliations and analysis of invoices and ensure accuracy of general ledger acitivity
• Assist with monthly accruals, month-end close activities and preparation of accurate financial statements
• Support fiscal year-end closing processes
• Prepare accounts receivable statements and daily review of email accounts

Lia Auto Group is seeking an Account Payable/Accounts Receivable Manager to join our accounting team in Albany. COMPENSATION RANGE:

$56K-$67K
