Job summary

Los Angeles LGBT Center is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator to oversee the Rainbow Resource Network (RRN) closets across Los Angeles County, ensuring smooth operations, affirming care, and strong community outreach for LGBTQIA2S+ youth.

You will coordinate programming, manage inventories, and lead a team of Rainbow Boutique Ambassadors while collaborating with DCFS staff and partner sites to promote youth well-being and access to clothing and personal care items.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience coordinating programs or services, preferably in youth services or LGBTQ+ affirming environments; experience with community outreach and event coordination.
• Proficiency with inventory tracking systems, databases, and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Knowledge of LGBTQ+ affirming practices, youth development, and community resource coordination.
• Experience working with LGBTQIA2S+ youth and/or child welfare systems; experience managing multiple program sites preferred
• Ability to travel between multiple closet sites across Los Angeles County; ability to lift and move inventory items as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate programming and services for Rainbow Resource Network closets across Los Angeles County.
• Oversee operations, site agreements, and boutique management with partner sites.
• Maintain welcoming, youth-centered spaces with clothing, personal care items, and inventory.
• Develop relationships with community partners and host staff; supervise Rainbow Boutique Ambassadors.
• Lead communication efforts for Rainbow Resource Network sites and host workshops on safety and affirmation.
• Prepare reports for funders and leadership; track inventory, purchases, and engagement metrics.
