Job summary

118-WW TMG MFG OPS is seeking a Process Technician to support wafer fabrication in our clean rooms. The role involves tool walks, quality checks and process control monitoring to protect production lines and ensure product quality.

The successful candidate will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams, assist with process development, and help resolve issues promptly to maintain smooth operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED are required.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work a 12-hour compressed schedule, including days/nights.
• Flexibility to work one weekend shift and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform tool walks, quals, and queue-time monitoring in the wafer fab.
• Monitor process control and support engineering with experiments if needed.
• Escalate critical issues to process engineering or equipment teams as required.
• Interface with engineering and manufacturing groups to resolve problems promptly.

As a process technician in one of our clean rooms, your responsibilities may include being responsible for performing tool walks, quals, que time monitoring, process control monitoring as well as possibly running experiments for engineering in our wafer fabrication area of semiconductor manufacturers. Once the product is on the line, the process technician monitors, audits and makes decision to protect the production line and product quality. Process technicians also push through new products and provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel. On critical time sensitive items, it is expected that issues will be escalation to the process engineering or equipment team in a timely fashion to get to resolution.
This technician will be an invaluable part of the team, interfacing and communicating with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure all issues are solved appropriately and efficiently. Additionally, you will provide process and product support to the organization and address production concerns and disposition of production material.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma/GED
• 18 years of age or older
• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing semiconductor environment
• Ability to work 12 hour compressed work schedule
• Flexible to work day or night shift that will include one weekend shift and holidays

• Ability to identify, multi-task, and resolve multiple priority issues quickly and efficiently to improve overall fab performance
• Ability to learn and understand process flow quickly, and support the engineering organization as needed
• Outstanding organizational, teaming, and troubleshooting skills on electrical and mechanical systems
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Proficient with MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
