Penske Motor Group’s Lexus of Stevens Creek in San Jose, CA seeks an entry‑level Valet Car Wash associate to create a great first and last impression for guests. You’ll work on-site, assist in the sales/service area, and support vehicle detailing and guest flow with a positive attitude.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma, good English, and a clean driving record; weekend shifts (Fri–Sun) and holidays are required. Training provided; growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English.
• Good interaction with guests and the public.
• Valid CA driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Washes exterior of vehicle after it is serviced or sold.
• Ensures exterior of each guest’s vehicle is thoroughly cleaned before delivery.
• Keeps finished vehicles maintained in an orderly fashion on the Sales lot.
• Keeps smooth and efficient traffic flow through the wash rack.
• Ensures all tools are in good working condition.
• Assist in other areas of the Sales/Service department as needed.
• Knowledge of chemicals and products used in automotive detailing and safety procedures.
• Follows all safety policies and practices.
• Maintains grooming, hygiene, and uniform appearance.

Overview

Our Valets create the first and last impression for our guests!

From moving vehicles smoothly, safely, and efficiently, Valets represent the dealership in a professional and friendly manner. A large part of your role will be to enhance the Lexus of Stevens Creek guest experience. Our ideal candidate is energetic, self-motivated, a team player, has excellent communication skills, and approaches every task with a positive attitude.

If you have those qualities, we can teach you the rest! This is an entry level position with a chance to learn about the automotive industry. This valet car wash will be working alongside the sales department to drive inquiries to our sales department. The sales department hours are from 9 am – 8pm, therefore our ideal candidate would work potential shifts from 9am – 6pm or 11am – close. Availability to work weekends is a MUST (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and holidays.

The Valet Car Wash Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $18.70 - $20.00.

*This position is located 100% on site at Lexus of Stevens Creek in San Jose, CA.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language.
• Work well with the public.
• Must have a valid CA driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
