Job summary

Mizuho Financial Group Inc. in New York is seeking a highly motivated Syndicate / Transaction Management Analyst within Leveraged Finance to support execution and syndication of leveraged loans and high yield bonds for corporate, sponsor, and project-finance clients.

You will work with bankers, syndicate, sales & trading, credit, legal, and operations on onboarding, approvals, settlements, and reporting across the deal lifecycle, with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience in corporate banking, capital markets, syndicated finance, or loan operations is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset

Responsibilities

• Support the execution and syndication of leveraged loan and high yield bond transactions.
• KYC and onboarding of new clients and institutional investors.
• Coordinate underwriting approvals and internal governance requirements.
• Support settlements, allocations, fee processing, and issuer payments.
• Assist with syndicate administration, investor communications, and lender records.
• Produce transaction, pipeline, and daily P&L reporting for Leveraged Finance.
• Coordinate with Tax, Treasury, Compliance, Regulatory, and Finance teams on requests.
• Support deal teams through mandate, closing, and post-close administration.
• Participate in special projects and process-improvement initiatives.
