Key Responsibilities

• Assume primary coverage for sectors in the non-investment grade universe.
• Build and maintain views and recommendations for long and short investments across the risk spectrum.
• Underwrite new issues and secondary ideas across loans, high yield, and convertible bonds.
• Actively monitor investments and manage risk exposures.
• Perform ESG analysis and engage management teams on ESG-related issues.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience covering leveraged loans and / or high yield.
• Preferred 5+ years of experience covering leveraged loans and / or high yield.
• Experience covering metals and mining, aerospace and defense, and / or power and utilities is a plus.

Qualifications

• University degree preferred.
• Mastery of Excel and Bloomberg.
• Strong critical thinking skills with a deep understanding of business drivers and risks.
• Proactive and predictive approach to managing investment risk.
• Self-starter with the ability to work well under pressure, prioritize, and multitask.
• Strong communication and writing skills; ability to articulate thesis and views clearly.
• Accurate with strong attention to detail.

Compensation

Base Pay

• 118,100 / yr - $180,000 / yr, with potential participation in performance-linked incentive programs.
