Job summary

The Tidal Financial Group is seeking a Leverage Trading Associate to implement and manage leveraged ETFs. You will trade equities, options, and swaps, and work closely with Prime Brokers and Market Makers in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have experience in equities, options, and fixed income trading, with Bloomberg proficiency and strong analytical skills. A background in financial services and back/middle office operations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business or quantitative field.
• 1–3 years trading equities, options, and fixed income with emphasis on options.
• Institutional/RIA trading experience.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg or similar institutional platforms.
• Strong understanding of markets and trading strategies.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems.
• Proficient with MS Office; very high Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage trades across equities, options, and swaps.
• Handle day-to-day trading operations: allocation, settlement, reconciliation.
• Use Bloomberg or other platforms for trade execution.
• Collaborate with Prime Brokers and Market Makers for best execution.
• Stay updated on market trends and trading strategies.
• Ensure performance aligns with fund objectives and competitors.
• Produce accurate information with minimal QA support.
• Partner with Portfolio Management to improve trading processes.
• Work with Operations to support transactions and operations.
• Interact with stakeholders to build strong working relationships.
• Continuously analyze and improve trading operations.
