Job summary

Tidal Financial Group in Oak Brook, IL seeks a Trading Associate to support cash and collateral management across ETF portfolios, performing day-to-day cash positioning and monitoring to ensure liquidity and collateral coverage.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Bloomberg or similar platforms, plus strong operations knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate across Portfolio Management, Operations, and Compliance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
• Minimum 3+ years in treasury, cash management, banking operations, or related areas.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg, Excel, and standard office applications.
• Strong communication and customer-service mindset.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• High attention to detail and deadline management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute daily cash position reports for ETF portfolios.
• Monitor inflows/outflows, identify exceptions, and communicate cash movements.
• Track account balances and forecast cash needs for liquidity and collateral.
• Use Bloomberg and counterparty portals to gather information and resolve discrepancies.
• Support workflow automation and SOP updates.
• Build dashboards and KPI reporting for operational transparency.
• Collaborate with Investment/Portfolio Management to improve processes.
• Deliver accurate work independently with accountability.
• Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
