Job summary

The Tidal Financial Group seeks an AVP of Trading and Portfolio Management to lead ETF portfolio implementation and oversight, balancing active and index-based strategies across global assets. Chicago-area preferred, with cross-functional duties across Portfolio Management and Trading teams.

You will monitor performance, support trade execution, reconciliations, and reporting for board meetings and regulatory filings while strengthening risk controls and ensuring adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of ETF/trading/portfolio management experience.
• Advanced Excel; VBA/Bloomberg/Python a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day management and oversight of passive investment portfolios.
• Monitor portfolios and assist trade execution, compliance reporting.
• Perform daily portfolio reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Trading to execute trades, rebalances, and ETF baskets.
• Prepare quarterly reconciliations and reporting for oversight and regulatory filings.
• Learn and apply firm policies and procedures in daily activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve portfolio management processes and workflows.
