Universal Stainless & Alloy Products, Inc. is seeking a Leveler Operator to support the Plate Department in Bridgeville, PA. You will operate a leveler press, load and align steel plate, and safely handle material with forklifts and overhead cranes.

The role begins as a utility position with on-the-job training to advance, following strict safety and quality procedures. Applicants should be able to perform basic math and measurements, follow instructions, and work well in a team.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; on-the-job training provided.
• Experience in manufacturing preferred but not required.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts in a 24/7, three-crew operation.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and monitor leveler press for steel plate processing.
• Load, position, align, and handle steel plate and materials.
• Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes for material handling.
• Monitor leveler operation and material flow for safe, efficient production.
• Perform basic adjustments to equipment and process settings.
• Perform basic measurements and calculations for production specs.
• Inspect steel plate for quality issues and report concerns.
• Follow work instructions and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Participate in 5S and housekeeping activities.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and other production personnel.
