Job summary

TEAM, Inc. is seeking an Advanced Services Inspector to lead advanced NDE inspections and data analysis across diverse facilities. You will operate cutting-edge inspection equipment, interpret complex data, and prepare technical recommendations for clients and engineers.

You will mentor junior technicians, assist with project planning, and ensure safety and quality align with industry standards and TEAM procedures. A strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and technical excellence defines this role.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Multiple NDT Level II and/or Level III certifications preferred (ASNT/PCN/CGSB).
  • Experience in refineries, petrochemical facilities, pipelines or fabrication shops.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced NDE inspections per TEAM procedures and codes.
  • Operate and maintain advanced inspection equipment and scanners.
  • Analyze complex inspection data and prepare reports and recommendations.
  • Interface with clients and engineers to convey findings and objectives.

Advanced Services Inspector

TEAM, Inc. is seeking an Advanced Services Inspector to perform specialized Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) using advanced inspection methods and techniques. This role is designed for experienced professionals with strong technical expertise in advanced inspection modalities. The Advanced Services Inspector is responsible for leading inspection activities, operating advanced inspection equipment, analyzing complex inspection data, interacting directly with clients, and ensuring all inspections are completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with applicable industry codes, client specifications, and company procedures. The position also supports project planning, mentors junior personnel, and upholds the company's commitment to safety, quality, and technical excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform advanced NDE inspections in accordance with TEAM procedures, client specifications, and applicable industry codes, including ASME, API, AWS, and other relevant standards.
  • Operate, configure, and maintain advanced inspection equipment and scanning systems.
  • Collect, interpret, and analyze complex inspection data and prepare accurate inspection reports and technical recommendations.
  • Interface directly with clients and engineers to communicate inspection findings and ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Maintain proficiency in data acquisition software and digital reporting platforms.
  • Supervise and mentor junior technicians and assistants during advanced inspection activities and field operations.
  • Support project planning, scan plan development, procedure preparation, and technique qualification reviews when required.
  • Adhere to TEAM's Life Critical Expectations and all site-specific health and safety requirements.
  • Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and quality throughout all inspection activities.
Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Multiple Conventional NDT Level II and/or Level III certifications or ASNT, PCN, or CGSB equivalent certifications.
  • Advanced certifications such as API 510, API 570, API 653, CWI, AMPP, Radiation Safety Training/IRRSP, or State Industrial Radiographer Card (where applicable).
  • Prior experience working in refineries, petrochemical facilities, pipeline projects, or fabrication shops.
  • Current TWIC, OSHA 10/30, or other industry-standard safety certifications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to clients, supervisors, and colleagues.
  • Strong technical expertise in advanced NDE methods and inspection technologies.
  • Ability to mentor junior personnel and provide technical guidance.
  • Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.
  • Ability to obtain TWIC, DISA, and other required site access credentials.
  • Ability to provide documentation supporting TEAM Level II qualifications and certifications in accordance with TEAM's written practice and certification requirements.
  • Ability to travel and work extended hours as required.
  • Ability to work in field environments, including confined spaces, elevated work areas, and extreme weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to access elevated platforms using ladders and stairways.
  • Ability to perform duties requiring mobility, manual dexterity, visual observation, effective communication, and multitasking.
  • Willingness to work indoors and outdoors at field offices and client locations, including noisy industrial environments.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.
  • Willingness to travel out of town periodically and work weekends, extended shifts, and alternative schedules as required.
