Position Summary:

TEAM, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Services Inspector to perform specialized non-destructive examinations using advanced inspection methods and techniques. The role is designed for experienced professionals with strong technical expertise across multiple inspection modalities. The Advanced Services Inspector is responsible for leading inspection scopes, analyzing complex inspection data, supporting clients with technical recommendations, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence. The position requires extensive client interaction, advanced technical execution, and subject matter expertise while supporting asset integrity across industrial sectors.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform advanced non-destructive examination (NDE) techniques in accordance with TEAM procedures, client specifications, and applicable industry codes, including ASME, API, and AWS.
  • Operate, configure, and maintain advanced inspection equipment and scanning systems.
  • Collect, interpret, and analyze complex inspection data and prepare accurate reports with technical recommendations.
  • Interface directly with clients and engineers to communicate inspection findings and ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Maintain proficiency in data acquisition software and digital reporting platforms.
  • Supervise and mentor junior technicians and assistants during advanced inspection activities.
  • Support project planning, scan plan development, procedure preparation, and technique qualification reviews as required.
  • Follow TEAM's Life Critical Expectations and all site-specific safety procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards and uphold TEAM's commitment to professionalism, integrity, and quality.
Qualifications:
  • Education
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Certifications:
  • Ability to provide documentation supporting one or more TEAM Level II qualifications or certifications in accordance with TEAM's written practice and certification requirements.
  • Multiple Conventional NDT Level II or Level III certifications or ASNT, PCN, or CGSB equivalent certifications preferred.
  • API 510, API 570, API 653, Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), AMPP, or other advanced certifications preferred.
  • Radiation Safety Training, IRRSP certification, or State Industrial Radiographer Card preferred where applicable.
  • Current TWIC, OSHA 10/30, or other industry-standard safety certifications preferred.
Experience & Knowledge:
  • Experience working in refineries, petrochemical plants, pipeline projects, or fabrication shops preferred.
  • Proficiency with data acquisition software and digital reporting systems preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge of advanced inspection techniques.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, engineers, supervisors, and team members.
  • Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background checks.
  • Ability to obtain TWIC, DISA, and other required site access credentials.
  • Ability to travel and work extended hours, weekends, and alternative work schedules as required.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, elevated work areas, and extreme weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to maneuver within refinery and industrial environments, including accessing elevated platforms using ladders and stairwells.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to maintain focus, multitask, and work safely in industrial environments with production machinery and elevated noise levels.
