Job summary

MODLOGIQ is seeking an experienced Welder to join our New Holland, PA plant, working with the Structural Steel team to construct modular steel frames.

As a Level II Welder, you will align, weld, and repair according to plans and safety standards, reading blueprints and AWS symbols. AWS D1.1 certification and 1 year of FCAW/SMAW experience are required. Travel and overtime may be needed to support projects.

Qualifications

• AWS D1.1 certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year welding experience (FCAW or SMAW).
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret welding symbols.
• Must own hand tools and be willing to travel for projects.

Responsibilities

• Align, weld, and repair steel structures per plans and safety rules.
• Weld with FCAW/SMAW in all positions; read blueprints and specs.
• Follow construction schedules and manage labor hours.
• Inspect finished work against drawings; address QA issues.
• Assist in weather-proofing and operation of heavy equipment when needed.
• Work in varied environments and weather; stay focused in tight spaces.
