Qualifications

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Level II Technician, Small Cell, to assist in installing power and communication cables on utility and light poles across the U.S. The role involves working around bucket trucks. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, customer-focused, quality-driven, with a strong work ethic and an ALL IN attitude.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Install radios, base station equipment, conduit, DC power wiring, and fiber optic cables on utility poles or at their bases.
  • Install and test low voltage DC power wiring and fiber optic cables.
  • Read prints and interpret engineering designs.
  • Take pre- and post-construction photos for project closeout.
  • Connect and rearrange cable facilities for aerial, buried, underground, and indoor setups using hand tools and specialized equipment.
  • Work at heights up to 50 ft on utility poles.
  • Operate bucket trucks, install, and test cellular RF cabling and antennas.
  • Support utility construction projects, including traffic control in various environments.
  • Adhere to safety practices at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
  • Minimum 1+ year experience with small cell or aerial operations.
  • OSHA 10 Certification preferred.
  • Bucket truck operation experience preferred.
  • First Aid/CPR Certification preferred.
  • RF Awareness Training preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
