Job summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking a State Carded Level II RT Technician for our Corpus Christi, TX operation. Local candidates preferred; relocation assistance is available but per diem and travel pay are not provided.

The role requires NDT expertise, radiographic interpretation, and a 4x10 schedule with OT as needed. TWIC and Industrial Radiographer State Card holders are valued; a strong safety record is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or college degree.
• Certified Level II in RT/NDT.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Ability to interpret inspection results and report findings.
• Knowledge of NDT equipment and radiographic interpretation.
• Based in or near Corpus Christi, TX (20–30 mile radius).
• 40 Hour Radiation Safety Training completed.
• Industrial Radiographer State Card; trainee status acceptable.
• Valid TWIC or ability to obtain one.
• Open to relocating for a full-time role with a 4x10 schedule.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Develop techniques for proper examination with safety compliance.
• Apply testing criteria and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, CRT/digital readouts and indicators.
• Organize and report test results.
• Perform specialized inspections and potentially supervise others.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
