MISTRAS Group, Inc. is hiring dedicated Level II RT and Level II MT, PT, UTT Technicians willing to travel and work projects and turnarounds as needed.

The position requires High School diploma, NDT training, and Level II certifications. Responsibilities include setting up equipment, conducting tests, interpreting and documenting results, and supporting Level I staff. Candidates must be able to travel to multiple sites and comply with safety standards.

Qualifications

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A for MT/PT/UTT.
  • Prior certification as an NDE Level II with one (1) year experience or prior certification as an NDE Level I with adequate field experience hours to certify to Level II per SNT-TC1A.
  • Competencies include problem solving, oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, planning/organization, adaptability, dependability, quality and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and calibrate equipment.
  • Conduct tests with appropriate NDT technique(s).
  • Interpret, evaluate and document results.
  • Must be able to direct the work of trainees and Level I.

Applicants Must Be Able To Provide The Following Documents

Major Responsibilities/ Activities

Minimum Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent

Working Conditions
  • Field duties require outdoor work in a plant
  • Interaction with other crew employees, as well as supervisors and
  • Working in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise

  • Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal
  • May be at more than one jobsite in a day and must be able to tolerate climate
