Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is hiring dedicated Level II RT and Level II MT, PT, UTT Technicians willing to travel and work projects and turnarounds as needed.

Applicants must have a High School Diploma/GED, proof of NDT training, and prior Level II certifications or Level I with field hours to certify to Level II. Essential duties include setting up equipment, conducting tests, interpreting results, and guiding trainees.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A for MT/PT/UTT.
• Prior Level II certification with 1 year experience or prior Level I cert with field hours to certify Level II per SNT-TC1A.
• Demonstrates problem solving, oral and written communication, and confidentiality.
• Plans work activities, adapts to changes, and works safely with equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate equipment.
• Conduct tests with appropriate NDT technique(s).
• Interpret, evaluate and document results.
• Direct the work of trainees and Level I technicians.
• Familiar with codes, standards, and contractual documents governing methods.
• Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Obtain and analyze information, edit and present numerical data.

MISTRAS is now hiring dedicated Level II RT and Level II MT, PT, UTT Technicians willing to travel and work projects and turnarounds as needed.

Applicants must be able to provide the following Documents:

• High School Diploma/GED/Degree

• Proof of classroom hours/Training in NDT

• Previous level II certifications/OJT

Major Responsibilities/ Activities

• Set up and calibrate equipment

• Conduct tests with appropriate NDT technique(s).

• Interpret, evaluate and document

• Must be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the method in which certified and capable of directing the work of trainees and Level I

• Must be familiar with the codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the method as utilized by the

Minimum Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent

• Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A for the following is required: MT/PT/UTT

• Prior certification as an NDE Level II with one (1) year experience or prior certification as an NDE Level I technician with adequate field experience hours to certify to Level II per SNT-TC1A
