Acuren Inspection, Inc. in Billings, Montana is seeking Multi-cert NDT Level II Technicians to support operations in the region. Ideal candidates will hold multi-cert status in RT/MT/PT/UT and be local or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities include setting up and calibrating NDT equipment, performing tests for defects, interpreting radiographs and readouts, reporting results, and possibly supervising others. Requires high school diploma; some college preferred; Level II certifications required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college preferred.
• Certified Level II RT/MT/PT/UT required.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Ability to interpret inspection results and operate NDT equipment.

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct tests to detect discontinuities using NDT methods
• Establish techniques for proper examination respecting safety regulations
• Apply testing criteria per specifications and evaluate results
• Interpret radiographs, CRT or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections
• May instruct and supervise others
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management

LOCATION REQUIREMENTS:We are currently seeking local candidates based in Billings, Montana or the surrounding area, or individuals who are open to relocating. • Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
• Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections
• May instruct and supervise others
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management
