Job summary

Precision Focus seeks a Policy Analyst to research, analyze, and coordinate policy for cyberspace training, exercises, and operations at multiple command levels. You will develop strategy and provide briefings to senior officials.

The role requires delivering written and oral policy recommendations, staying current on legislation and regulatory changes, and coordinating cross-agency efforts to ensure timely, effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5+ years of experience as a Policy Analyst.
• 3 years supporting Combatant Command, Service HQ, JFHQ, JTF, Joint Duty Assignment, Cyber Mission Force, or Intelligence Community.
• 2 years of experience briefing senior leaders.

Responsibilities

Conducts research, analysis, development, and coordination of strategy, policy, and doctrine for cyberspace training, exercise, and operations at the national, DOW, Service, and Command level and provides policy recommendations for improvements to doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership, and education, personnel, facilities, and policy (DOTmLPF-P) that affect the Command's cyberspace operations mission. Provides technical expertise on executive-level projects, analyzes, assesses, and develops future strategies, policies, and doctrines governing cyberspace operations. Supports interagency and coalition policy formulations on cyberspace issues, ensuring authorities, concerns, and equities are accurately represented. Maintains awareness of and reports significant cyber-related policy issues affecting the DOW and USCYBERCOM. Provides concise, actionable communications to senior officials, both written and orally. Performs analysis and critical thinking, assesses programmatic issues, conducts risk analysis, and proposes innovative and achievable solutions. Exhibits familiarity with legislative and regulatory documents and has a working knowledge of the legislative and regulatory process. Acts in a proactive manner with actions focused on problem-solving and aids in implementing systems and procedures to ensure that projects and documents are kept on track and internal and external deadlines are met. Researches and writes background papers, talking points, and written and oral statements, to include providing legislative briefings to leadership.

Qualifications:

• Minimum five years of experience as a Policy Analyst or related functional area
• Three years of experience working for or supporting a Combatant Command, Service HQ, Joint Force Headquarters, Joint Task Force, Joint Duty Assignment, Cyber Mission Force team, or Intelligence Community organizations
• Two years of experience interacting with and providing briefs to senior leaders
• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree
