Job summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking temporary Level II MT/PT/UTT Technicians to support turnaround/outage/project work across the United States. The role is part of our U.S. Workforce Deployment Team, with assignments varying by project requirements and demand.

Responsibilities include performing MT, PT, and UTT inspections, calibrating equipment, and documenting results while following safety and regulatory standards. Travel, overtime, and night shifts may be required to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 40-Hour Radiation Safety Training certification required.
• Current Level II MT, PT, and UTT certifications required.
• Experience performing MT, PT and ultrasonic thickness inspections in industrial environments.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, piping isometrics, weld symbols and technical specs.
• Basic computer skills for inspection reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform MT, PT, and UTT inspections per codes and procedures.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate MT/PT/UTT equipment.
• Document thickness, discontinuities and inspection findings.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain records.
• Travel to customer sites and work variable schedules.

Education

High school diploma or GED

40-Hour Radiation Safety Training certification

Current Level II MT, PT, and UTT certifications

Demonstrated MT/PT/UTT inspections experience

Valid driver’s license

Read/interpret engineering drawings & weld symbols

Basic computer skills for reporting

Ability to pass drug/alcohol screenings

Knowledge of industry codes and standards
