Job summary

Chemring Energetic Devices (CED) seeks a Level II NDT/Radiographic Testing Technician to perform radiographic inspections using CR and N-Ray. You will prepare equipment, conduct X-ray exposures, and interpret images to ensure parts meet quality and safety standards.

Requirements include NAS 410 Level II RT certification and IRRSP or equivalent. Minimum 2 years NDT experience, with RT exposure, and the ability to travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Must hold NAS 410 Level II RT certification for computed radiography.
• IRRSP or equivalent radiography safety credential required.
• Minimum 2 years in non-destructive testing with at least 1 year RT experience.

Responsibilities

• Interpret radiographs and N-Ray films to verify conformance with procedures and documentation.
• Set up radiographic equipment and perform X-ray exposures.
• Complete daily radiation reports and checklists.
• Calibrate and maintain NDT equipment and ensure safety compliance.
• Travel to customer sites as needed for inspections.
