NFI is seeking a Level II Technician to perform planned and unplanned maintenance on LP and electric forklifts in Texas. The role requires self-sufficiency with repairs, knowledge of mechanics, electrical systems, and comfort with hand tools.

Strong communication and customer-service skills are essential for collaboration with leads and level-3 techs. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, fluid/filter changes, tune-ups, tire and battery work, and part replacements, with adherence to

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience with troubleshooting electric or LP equipment.
• Experience in basic repairs of electric or LP equipment.
• Experience in attachment repairs.
• Basic electrical, LP, hydraulic system, and DVOM knowledge.
• Basic wiring schematic reading experience.
• Must be able to read and follow service manual instructions.

Responsabilités

• Perform Preventative Maintenance on forklift (LP and electric).
• Change fluids and filters, perform tune ups and adjust components.
• Inspect wheels, batteries, and perform battery removal/installation as needed.
• Replace parts such as horns, lights, tires; perform basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain productivity targets (PMs per month and overall efficiency).
• Document and communicate service actions to lead tech/manager.
