Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking Level II Eddy Current (ET) Technicians local to the Houston, TX area who are willing to travel for projects, turnarounds, and call-out as needed.

This full-time on-site role requires a high school diploma and formal NDT training per SNT-TC1A, with prior Level II experience preferred. Responsibilities include setting up equipment, conducting tests, interpreting results, and guiding trainees.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A standards is required.
• Experience as an NDE Level II or Level I with sufficient field hours to certify Level II.
• Issued radiography cards and safety training are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate NDT equipment.
• Conduct ET tests using approved methods.
• Interpret, evaluate and document results.
• Supervise trainees and Level I personnel when needed.
• Comply with codes, standards, and contract documents.
• Travel to multiple job sites as required.
