NVI, LLC in Carlsbad, NM, is hiring a Level II Digital Radiographer to support our NDE team. You will operate DR equipment, ensure safe radiography practices, report results, and travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Current Level II Limited Digital Radiography certification.
• Valid State Radiographer’s card or IRRSP card.
• Minimum 80 hours Radiography Level I/II training.
• Minimum 40 hours Digital Radiography training.
• 16 hours DR Software/Hardware training (GE/Waygate favored).
• Must pass FBI background verification.
• Must pass Company Drug/Alcohol, Fit for Duty, Ergonomic testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform Level II DR profile inspections and other NDE inspections per Company procedures.
• Operate and maintain Digital Radiography equipment, software, and hardware per requirements.
• Calculate, establish, and control the radiation area.
• Evaluate results against specifications and standards.
• Organize and report test results; produce quality radiographs.
• Travel to project sites as needed and manage long-term projects.
• Communicate with customer representatives daily; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Train assistants in applicable codes and practices.

Education

High school diploma or G.E.D.

Level II Digital Radiography certification

Valid State Radiographer’s card or IRRSP card

FBI background verification

100% pass of Drug/Alcohol, Fit for Duty testing
