NVI, LLC., a nondestructive testing provider, is hiring for a Level II Computed Radiographer in Odessa, TX. The role covers performing Level II CR inspections, operating radiography equipment, calibrating test setups, and ensuring quality radiographs in line with client specifications and regulatory standards.

The position requires current Level II CR certification, state radiographer license/IRRSP, and adherence to safety and training standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Level II Computed Radiography certification required.
• Valid State Radiographers card or IRRSP card.
• Minimum 80 hours of Radiography Level I and II training.
• Minimum 40 hours of Computed Radiography training.
• 16 hours of CR software/hardware training (GE/Waygate or VMI preferred).
• Familiar with welding codes (ASME, API, AWS).
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to pass background checks.

Responsabilités

• Perform Level II CR inspections and other NDE inspections as specified by procedures.
• Operate and maintain Computed Radiography equipment, software, and hardware per company requirements.
• Establish and calibrate testing equipment and materials.
• Calculate, establish, and control the radiation area.
• Evaluate results against specifications or standards.
• Organize and report test results and ensure quality radiographs.
• Travel as required and meet project deadlines.
• Train assistants in accordance with codes and company practices.
