Job summary

NVI, LLC, a nondestructive testing service provider, is hiring motivated Level II CR professionals to support our Sulphur, LA division. The role includes operating Computed Radiography equipment, performing inspections, and ensuring quality radiographs across projects.

Applicants must have Level II CR certification, relevant state licenses, and strong safety compliance. Travel is required, and we offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Level II Computed Radiography certification required.
• Valid State Radiographers card or IRRSP card.
• Minimum 80 hours Radiography Level I/II training.
• Minimum 40 hours Computed Radiography training.
• 16 hours CR Software/Hardware training (GE/Waygate or VMI preferred).
• Familiar with welding codes (ASME, API, AWS).
• List of projects managed as Level II Computed Radiographer.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license; pass MV history checks.
• Pass FBI background verification.
• Pass Drug/Alcohol and Fit for Duty testing policies.
• Pass Level II Computed Radiography certification process.

Responsibilities

• Perform Level II CR inspections and other NDE inspections per procedures.
• Operate and maintain Computed Radiography equipment per requirements.
• Establish and calibrate testing equipment and materials.
• Calculate and control the radiation area.
• Evaluate results per specs or standards and customer requirements.
• Organize and report test results; produce quality radiographs.
• Meet travel expectations; manage project durations.
• Communicate with customer representatives daily.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and procedures on projects.
• Train assistants in applicable codes and practices.
