National Inspection & Consultants (NIC), an Element Company, seeks a Level II Computed Radiography (CR) / Radiographic Testing (RT) Technician for a 5+ month assignment in Washington. The role involves performing radiography on aerospace structures and weldments and tubing welds following AWS D17.1.

The candidate must hold a Level II CR/RT, with experience operating Lorad 160 and VMI CR Scanner, and possess a valid IRRSP X-Ray Endorsement. Independence and strong safety practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Level II CR/RT qualifications required.
• Experience operating Lorad 160 and VMI CR Scanner.
• Experience shooting tubing welds per AWS D17.1.
• Valid IRRSP X-Ray Endorsement.
• Ability to work independently as a standalone team.

Responsabilités

• Perform and evaluate industrial radiography examinations on aerospace structures and weldments.
• Perform radiography on tubing welds in accordance with AWS D17.1.
• Operate as a standalone radiography team, with potential responsibilities for image interpretation.
