The Raytheon Estimating and Pricing (E&P) organization has an exciting opportunity to join a talented team supporting proposal and capture efforts for the Air and Space Defense Systems (ASDS) business unit.This position will be for a direct charging employee supporting programs located onsite in Tucson, AZ.

The chosen candidate will be responsible for the preparation of various types of proposals for development, production and competitive contracts including modifications to existing contracts.In addition, the estimating organization supports gate reviews, government audits and negotiations with the customer. The chosen candidate will be expected to support programs onsite, with opportunities to work remotely as appropriate.

What You Will Do

• Support the development and understanding of proposals
• Work with other functions from across the company to developthe labor, material and other direct costs associated with proposed contracts
• Utilize company estimating and pricing programs and tools
• Develop detailed Request for Estimates which are used to kick off proposals
• Provide estimating support for the development of Basis of Estimates to include validating and analyzing actuals, ensuring consistency within task descriptions, and confirming estimating approach is sound
• Prepare and present limited complexity Gate 4 charts for program/company leadership review of proposal information
• Ensure proposals comply with basic FAR and internal requirements
• Assess and formulate potential solutions leading to a thorough proposal submittal

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field
• Experience with Microsoft Office products
• Experience with Excel (i.e. basic formulas, lookup functions, pivot tables, filtering/sorting, etc.)
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
