Job summary

Real Property Management Viking is seeking a Level I Maintenance Technician to service properties in the Twin Cities area, with no weekend work and flexible hours, including 4 ten-hour days or 5 eight-hour days. You’ll handle light electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance upkeep.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and comfort using a smartphone for work orders.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of maintenance experience.
  • Familiarity with maintenance trades (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC).
  • Ability to diagnose and repair household systems in residential settings.
  • Excellent communication with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance systems.
  • Conduct turnover maintenance and property inspections to keep homes in top condition.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues in resident homes and ensure high-quality repairs.
  • Log work orders and communicate findings using digital tools.
