Responsibilities include daily living assistance and management of complex conditions, with safety at the core. Requirements include RN or LPN licensing or related degree with experience in special needs; CPR with hands-on skills; smartphone ownership; varied hours including early mornings and late evenings.

Qualificações

• RN or LPN license with relevant experience in special needs care.
• Advanced qualifications or degrees in related fields are preferred.
• Experience with complex care needs and medical conditions is expected.

• Care for complex conditions including seizures, tube feedings, tracheostomy suctioning, and monitoring home medical equipment.

Formação académica

RN license

LPN license with at least 5 years of experience with individuals with special needs

RN or Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of complex experience with special needs

Saratoga Medical has a wonderful opportunity for a Level 4 Respite Care Providerin Fort Belvoir/Woodbridge, VA area.

Important: Security clearance must be completed before starting work and may take approximately 3-6 months after initial submission/approval.

• PRN position
• Up to 32 hours per month for the assigned family
• Services provided in the family’s home
• Additional cases may be offered in the area after hire
• Service hours may be scheduled between 6:00 AM and 12:00 AM, Sunday-Saturday

Qualifications – One of the following:

• Current RN license, OR
• Current LPN license with at least 5 years of experience working with individuals with special needs, OR
• RN or Bachelor's degree in a related field with at least 3 years of complex experience with special needs

Level 4 Responsibilities:

• Daily living assistance including bathing, feeding, toileting, dressing, lifting/positioning, meal preparation, and safety
• Care for complex conditions including seizures, tube feedings, tracheostomy suctioning, and monitoring home medical equipment

Required:

• National Sex Offender Registry check
• State and local child abuse registry checks
• Valid CPR certification with an in-person, hands-on skills assessment; online-only CPR is not accepted
• Must own a smartphone
